The Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH), established in 1983, is the largest and most prestigious research centre of Greece with well-organised facilities and highly qualified personnel. It consists of seven research institutes located throughout Greece. Over the years, FORTH has become one of the top European research centres. From a total of 38 ERC grants awarded since 2007 to scientists hosted at Greek institutions, 12 are located at FORTH. According to the fifth FP7 monitoring report, FORTH ranked 13 among all European research organisations in FP7 signed grant agreements in terms of counts of participations for the period 2007-2011.

INOVA+ is the Portuguese leading company in the promotion and management of international projects of Innovation, Education and Training and Research and Technological Development. The company’s mission is to provide the knowledge, management capacity, partnerships and technical and financial support needed to ensure successful innovation projects to its customers. With 20+ years’ experience, INOVA+ employs more than 80 consultants based in different locations, as well as it works with a wide network of partners, including Universities, schools and other education providers; Research Centres, Municipalities and regional authorities, etc. The International Cooperation Unit (ICU) gathers a highly qualified team with large experience in coordinating and managing EU-funded projects and initiatives.

Khora is based in Copenhagen and founded in 2015 as the world’s first combined virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) production house, store and showroom – and among the first to instruct and produce high-end immersive virtual reality content in the Nordic Region, having released more than 250 immersive experiences. Today, we have a creative and diverse full-scale production team of 20 employees, including computer graphics and 3D artists, sound designers, filmmakers, programmers, developers and AR/VR experts, with diverse backgrounds in philosophy, history, ethnology and sociology. Our productions are all made in-house and in close dialogue with our partners. Our track record and extensive experience enable us to offer honest insights on disadvantages and advantages across the range of VR/AR mediums. We strive to democratize access to VR because it gives us powerful, educational and meaningful experiences that can tie us closer to our natural, cultural and historical heritage.

C-Factor/Manufacturing Curiosity is a European initiative aiming to foster the contribution of new technologies to the diversity of Culture &Media contents. Its goal is to support European entrepreneurial endeavours that contribute to promote the diversity of cultural expressions online and smart innovation in the sector of cultural and creative industries, on the basis of the values promoted by several European and international commitments–such as 2005 UNESCO’s Convention on the diversity of cultural expressions, Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI)framework of the European Union (H2020). Its initial structure is a Paris-based non-profit organisation, backed by the Foundation MinesParisTech (Paris Sciences & Letters Research University).

ARMINES is a private non-profit research and technological organisation (RTO) funded in 1967 with common research centres with the Ecoles des Mines, gathering public and private personnel and means, to collaborate on an arm’s length basis and perform research contractual activities and academic research training. ARMINES also collaborates with ENSTA ParisTech, Ecole Polytechnique, ENPC, and Ecole Navale. With a total turnover of more than €39.7 million (2018), ARMINES is amongst the top of private contract research institutions affiliated to higher education entities. In terms of European activity, ARMINES through the Joint Research Units has been involved in European projects since 1994 (FP4) and obtained, within FP7, 11 projects as coordinator and 87 as partner.

CUMEDIAE, acronym for Culture & Media Agency Europe aisbl, is a Brussels based international non-profit agency providing consultancy services in the field of CCIs European wide. It was founded under the direct influence of the UNESCO 2005 Convention on Cultural diversity objectives and guiding principles. The structure was founded by a group of European professionals with long experience in the field of cultural management and cultural policy. CUMEDIAE’s activities have a common denominator: promoting support to international activities and communication in the creative sector, and connecting professionals and organisations engaged in the CCIs (in its management as well as in policy).
