DigiTraining, Digital & Audiovisual Capacity Building for Accessible Heritage, a project funded by the European Commission under the Creative Europe Programme, is organizing its first Intermediate Partner Meeting and In-Person Training Sessions which will take place on October 21st & 22nd, 2021 in Paris, France. The event is hosted by DigiTraining’s Consortium partner organisation C-FACTOR, in association with the Robert de Sorbon Foundation. The sessions will be hosted at Hôtel de Vogüé, 16-22 Rue de Martignac, 7e. The event will bring together trainers and beneficiaries in hybrid modalities through workshops and sessions aimed at providing and improving digital skills and tools, as well as managing capabilities for programme beneficiaries.
Thursday, October 21st:
The first day will feature:
● Working Session 1: “Digitalization of tangible and intangible heritage”. This session will be hosted by the DigiTraining project leader organisation, The Foundation for Research & Technology – Hellas (FORTH).
● Working Session 2: “Motion Capture for Heritage Preservation” will be led by DigiTraining partner organisation ARMINES.
The event will continue with the special participation of keynote speakers Yves Ubelmann, expert in cultural heritage preservation through digital tools from Iconem; and Carsten Siebert, Chancellor and Managing Director of Barenboim-Said Akademie.
Friday, October 22nd, 2021:
The second day will feature:
● Working Session 3: “Presentations by the participants of the Specific Programme” which will be led by DigiTraining partner organisation INOVA+
● Working Session 4: “Strategic Management of Museum Digitalisation”, again to be hosted by INOVA+
