Our project is underway, and we have already met important milestones which we are happy to share with you. The first, is of course, tailoring an offer that responds to the urgent need for providing specific support to the cultural and creative heritage sector in a challenging environment.
Our team, led by the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) based in Greece, is composed of highly experienced public and private organisations from five different countries and together we have been fine tuning the training programme that will be received by participants who have been selected through an open call. A little bit about the now-closed call and the selection process of the participants to the programme: DigiTraining launched an open call to European small and midsize museums in April 2021 and through a transparent selection procedure a specific number of organisations were selected based on outlined criteria. On selection of the organisations, the staff of selected organisations have the opportunity to take part at no cost in the project’s training activities. A more restricted number of selected applicants benefit from personalised and tailor – made support and digital production services directly adapted to their needs and mission.
We have developed this website, as a resource not only for selected organisations, but for others interested to eventually know more about our offer and also, to have access to publicly shared resources, which we will make available through our blogs, as well as once the training programme is completed. We invite you to follow up on social media, and also to sign up for the DigiTraining Newsletter here.
We look forward to providing great support in this very important time!
